This one is a small kind of traditional dust buster Black & Decker HNV215B10 compact lithium hand vac. I thought I’d check it out because this one will seem like it would be smaller easier to use to have around for quick grab. I was just going to take a look at it. You know what you’re getting if you want to buy one of these.
It’s a traditional Dustbuster design you can see here. You know it’s kind of like the old-school dustbusters. But it also has this cradle which not only can be put on stable like this and then this slips into. It can be mounted to a wall. You can see there a couple of screw holes and then a hook on this side. If you mount it to a wall it’ll hold the Dustbuster up just like that. You don’t have to but it’s almost easier if you mount it to the wall because you have to slide it in and out.
You can’t just kind of grab the Dustbuster Black & Decker HNV215B10 really and pick it up here you’re gonna have two hands to lift it out of it’s cradle. Then non grounded outlet you can plug that into friendagenda knowledge. Does come with screws to go ahead and mount it to your wall. If you choose now here is a dust buster, like I said, you know it’s big. But it’s actually fairly compact for a handheld cordless.
The button right here is to open it up. I assume they’re go blowers that latch and then it just rocks off the bottom there’s a little pull in a hook on the bottom here. You have one of these reusable washable paper filters. I do like having some of these up in backup form you know so when they get really ready. You can throw them way but you can just rinse these out it’s nice plastic base there.
Then inside you’ve got this washable plastic to with kind of a large draw area here. Then it looks like inside you have a little rubber flap that kind of keeps everything only flowing one way. It’s nice he’s stuck in some dirt and debris ash whatever. Then this will kind of close and it works like a one-way valve. You don’t have it just spilling out the end when you stop sucking. You’ve got the motor here looks like it’s covered and then the connectors for charging. Even though I just took this right out of the box there might be a little bit of a charge in it. We will see so I’m going to go ahead and lock that into place lock it back here.
Nice motion you can actually see that little black flap there. If I turn it on opens up. Good suction even on the probably the limited amount of charge. It has here nice convenient good size candle for grabbing it and the thing is light so the thing is really light.
I think it’s like a six volt or something. It’s not the most powerful vacuum Black & Decker HNV215B10 in the world but because of that it doesn’t require a huge battery. One thing about the button. It’s an on and off it’s up on as long as you’re holding it right and then right under here is where that’s venting.
Let’s go ahead and try to vacuum up some debrise and see how it works well. Back here, at the fireplace where I’m always making a mat you know wood, ash, debrise and so let’s try this black & decker. Even though I’m only using to charge that it came with out of the box.
That seems pretty good, everything’s caught in there you know nothing’s falling back out on me. Filter is able to keep everything out and kind of collect inside the plastic reservoir here. You can open it up dump it out wash the filter and the plastic basin here and continue to reuse it.
Pretty cool! I like this really handy little black & decker HNV215B10 dustbuster.
